Gwendolyn M. “Gwen” Dineen, age 68, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE on July 16, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry Dineen and Eleanor Margaret Winnington. Gwen spent her career caring for others as a registered nurse for many hospitals and medical offices.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her “soaps”, reading, and scrolling through social media. Gwen especially loved caring for her dog, Brandy. More than anything, she loved her family and time spent with them.
Gwen is survived by her husband of 21 years, Antonio DeJesus; son, Michael Gladney of New Castle; sister, Shirley Koberstine of New Field, NY; and niece, Janet Peckam of Woodhull, NY.
All services will be held privately.

Michael & Mr. Tony, I am so sorry to hear about Ms. Gwen. Mr. Tony, I know how much you love Ms. Gwen. You two were our favorite couple who loved us all like we were your own children.
