  • Oma, words can’t explain how much I miss you. I know you can be here physically to help mom and everyone get through this but we need you. I try to tell mom you’re right there looking at us but she won’t believe it. I’m trying so hard just like you would want me too. It’s just so hard. I love you so much. Please come back. Please . I’ll never forget you Omie

  • Dear Franz Family, My wife and I are very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear love one. We know this is a difficult time for your family. We want to share something from the bible that comforts us during times like these. It is comforting to know that God never meant for us to experience the loss of a love one.(Romans5:12)(James 1:13) He has made provisions through his son Jesus to awaken our love ones asleep in the grave. (John 11:25) (John 5:28,29) God has also promised to wipe away all tears, pain, sorrow and death forever.(Revelation 21:4,5) These promises and many more will soon be a reality. (Psalms 37:10,11&29) They give us hope and comfort knowing that God will bring our love ones back to us. We pray that your family find peace and comfort from reading the bible’s promises for the future.

  • I still can’t believe this is real. I keep crying just like I did at Kindergarten, but you don’t come back….I know in my heart if you could, you would….but it doesn’t take the pain away. I know you didn’t want to leave us, and you fought so hard to stay but your body just couldn’t take anymore. It just isn’t fair. You were my best friend, we had a lot of good times together. I don’t know who I will call everyday now. I will be lost without you.I will miss you so much and my broken heart will heal one day, but time will never change how much I love you. I just wish I could have you back……I will never forget the great mommy you were and I will try to be a great Oma just like you were to all of your grandchildren.

  • Oma had a way of making people feel like they were part of the family. The first day I met her she gave me a hug, smiled, and gave me that look like I had better watch it buddy that’s my daughter you’re with. She always laughed, she never judged me, and always had open arms no matter what the situation. When I was around her I knew my day was going to be better as she always brought me up. I think about all the times we spent with her and the family out on the deck looking out on the water. And the fact we actually got her out on the water was a miracle in its self. Even during her worst times she never complained but always worried about the other family members. I will miss Oma very much. I love you Oma!

  • To the family of Helen, our prayers are with you as you say good bye to your Mother,GrandMother.Friend.
May she Rest in Peace in haven,May God strengthen your hearts as you go on without her.Oma and Diane and kids just know that God is taking her now to a better place in she is looking down on you all.

  • Hi sweetie,

Yes you have left us, but only your body. Your spirit, love, and smile will always be in my heart. God saw you suffering in pain and knew there was no cure. So He wrapped His loving arms around you and said “Come home, your job is done.”

I cherish the 50 years we shared and would trade anything on this earth to have you in my arms again.

So long my darling wife. Until we are together again.

    Love, (in heart felt sorrow)
    Your Husband

  • Yes, my love God has taken you home. You are in His arms and there is no more pain, no more suffering. We had 50 years of love, 50 years of a wonderful life. I shall always cherish the memory of those times, your smile, gentle voice, your soft touch. Yes your earthly body is gone, but your spirit will always be in my heart and mind, guiding me as you always did. Sweetie I loved you and I will continue to love you forever. I promised to honor and obey, to love and to cherish, to have and to hold for better or worse, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health. I now renew that vow to you. Rest in peace my wife. Until we are together again.
    A broken heart never mends.
Love(with a heart full of sorrow)
    Your husband

  • PopPop has passed. We know you two are together. Thinking of you both. Sending lots of love. Please watch over us all ❤️

  • Oma,

Brooke and I have found true love like yours and PopPop’s. And we both felt you yesterday. With the holiday season coming closer, I have been thinking about you a lot lately. Your family up with you has been growing just like ours here on earth. And I just hope you are proud of us. I can’t wait to see you soon, hopefully with Ryan this time. I know you’d like him, he’s a great man. He made me your eggs yesterday. John is great for Brooke too. We have really grown since we lost you. But we miss you everyday. The snow is close, I know that means you two are close this holiday season. I’m hoping to get some of your Christmas decorations, especially the Barbie ornament with the broken arms PopPop couldn’t fix. One of my favorite memories when we lived with you. We’re trying to keep Tim in line. But I have to go to class. Shh, don’t tell Mom.

  • Happy Mother’s Day Oma I wish you were here with us
