Jacob F. Baker III

Jacob F. Baker III, age 59, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
Born in Duplin County, NC on April 12, 1961, he was the son of Priscilla D. (Boney) Baker and the late Jacob F. Baker, Jr. Early in his career, Jacob sailed ships as a merchant marine for Sun Oil and then continued his work as an electrician for AZZ Enclosures. He loved to be around all of his friends at the beach and from Claymont High School. Jacob was known for having a good laugh and for helping others before himself.
In addition to his father, Jacob was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl A. Baker. He is survived by his sons, Jacob Baker IV and Kyle Baker; sister, Gale Baker; nephews, Kevin Gunning and Matthew Gunning; In-laws, Gloria Jean Kirkpatrick, Karen Valentine and Bonnie Kirkpatrick; and lifelong friend, Mary Ann Richards.
All services will be held privately.
