James L. Price, Jr.

Born: 2/28/1965
Died: 12/22/2012

Mr. James Larrell Price, Jr., known fondly as “Jimmy” or “Hotshot,” age 47, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December, 22, 2012.
A native Delawarean, Jimmy was born in Wilmington on February 28, 1965, son of the late James L. Price, Sr. and Brenda Mae Freezer Price. He made his career as a heavy equipment operator and was employed with Leo Friel Tree Service in Wilmington.
Jimmy had a great love for riding motorcycles throughout his life and was also a gifted motorcycle mechanic. A former member of the Pagans motorcycle club, he was a lifelong member of the Zero Tolerance Crew. He was also an active member at St. Gabriel’s Club, Terrace Athletic Club, both in New Castle, and the VFW on Maryland Avenue.
Jimmy was a devoted father who loved his children very much and put in a lot of effort to spend time with them, despite the circumstances. Family meant a lot to him. He was a fun-loving, positive, caring man and always the life of the party. BBQs & pit fires in the backyard with family and friends were some of his favorite times.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeanne M. Price, whom he married in September of this year; children, Angus, Malcolm, Brian, Brenda, and Agnes Price; stepchildren, Amber, Gus, Nick and Cassey Garneski; brother, Bob Fuller, aunt, Blanche Wegman; cousin, Richard Wegman; and step grandchildren, McKayla Marie Spence and Richard Spence III (“JR”).
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 12 noon.
