JC Kane, age 21, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Born in Newark, DE on May 30, 2002, he was a son of John Charles Kane and Kimberly Ann (Sikes) Kane. JC attended Middletown High School and graduated from James H. Groves High School. He went on to graduate from IT Work and earned his Comp TIA A+ Certification. JC was currently attending Delaware Technical Community College for Radiology. He was working part time at ARS Radiology where he was well respected and a friend to all.

JC enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, fishing, skateboarding and snowboarding. He especially loved caring for his beloved dog, Bella and bearded dragon, Spyro. Some of JC’s best memories were vacations to Florida to see Grandmom, Granddad, and Aunt Holly. JC delighted in riding rides at Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, especially the roller coasters. JC’s adventurous spirit showed in his passion for dining out and experiencing unique foods from various countries and cultures.

JC was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Sikes, and paternal grandparents, Mary and Leo Kane. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Ryan Kane; maternal grandfather, Milton Sikes; aunts, Holly Sikes and Debbie Forte (Marc); uncle, Michael Kane (Mary); many loving cousins; godmother, Jeanne Conners; many dear friends, especially Brendan Conners and Logen Hunter whom he considered brothers.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2:30 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm. Interment will be held privately.
