Jean G. Drummond, age 76, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 13, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Mable (Gray) Willon. Jean graduated from William Penn High School and held various roles after graduation before retiring in 2008. In her free time, she was an avid bingo player and enjoyed card games with family and friends. More than anything, Jean loved just spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Drummond, Sr. She is survived by her children, Jay Drummond (Denise) and Chris Drummond (Kelly); grandchildren, Logan Drummond, Madison Drummond, Mason Drummond and Charlotte Drummond; great granddaughter, Baylynn Drummond; and siblings, Elaine Jeuell (Sam) and Gail Stewart.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the CDC and Governor of Delaware.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s memory to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PO Box 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
