Jeane M. Downs

Mrs. Jeane M. Downs, age 84, formerly of Shellburne in Wilmington, DE, passed away on March 25, 2012.

Mrs. Downs was a talented homemaker and a member of the Episcopal Church of Ss. Andrew and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. “Fred” Downs. She is survived by her daughter, Susan L. Hengel (Steven); and grandchildren, Sarah B. Hengel and Andrew S. Hengel.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Downs may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Episcopal Church of Ss. Andrew and Matthew, 719 N. Shipley Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
