Jennifer Clare Burgun, age 40, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Jennifer was born in New London, CT on September 2, 1977, and was the daughter of James and Deborah (Fisher) Burgun. She was a proud member of the St. Mark’s High School graduating class of 1995.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, James and Deborah Burgun of Newark; daughter, Emily May Anderson; brothers, Nathan J. Burgun of Newark and Daniel J. Burgun (Emily) of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Emily B. Panhuise (Michael) of Wilmington; and nephew, Esmond J. Burgun.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday evening, September 18, 2017, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am on Tuesday morning, September 19, 2017, at the St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 9th and DuPont Streets, Wilmington, DE. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jennifer’s memory may be made to the Emily Anderson Education Fund, c/o Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE 19711.
