Jesse “Caine” Kubala
May 18, 1981 - May 25, 2021
Jesse “Caine” Kubala, age 40, of Dover, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
On May 18, 1981, in Wilmington, DE, Caine made his first appearance into this world. He was the son of Craig Gordon Kubala, Sr. and the obvious, yet unspoken “favorite child” of his mother, Ann-Marie (Lloyd) Jordan.
In addition to his parents, Caine is survived by his siblings, Craig Gordon Kubala, Jr. (Sarah), Christian Sean Whiteside, Sara Jean Baranski (Andrew), and Londa Lou Kubala (Brenton); lifetime brotherly friend, Jerry Edward Benitez (Marie Cui); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
There’s been a lot of debate what Caine actually did for a living, but we narrowed it down to possibly an artist, painter, landscaper, professional video gamer, writer, cat daddy (to Eddie, his beloved fur baby), and/or super hero villain. He was also a compassionate caregiver for his mother and step-father, Michael J. Jordan.
He had a very creative mind and was an extremely gifted artist. By the age of 8, he was a self-taught guitarist, he mastered electronics, and could draw the wildly elaborate illustrations. Caine’s greatest gift was the ability to make people laugh. Caine’s humor was 90% wildly inappropriate and sarcastic, and 10% ridiculously random. It made for a lot of very awkward moments, but we cherish them just the same. He was known for his long, entertaining stories & theories, which he loved to repeat often (we’re pretty sure a trait he inherited from his mother). He was usually the funniest guy in the room, making everyone smile with his outlandish animated comedy. He never ceased to incite laughter through his illuminating epigrammatic sense of humor.
Caine had countless lifelong childhood friends, many who remember hanging out in “the shed” where an abundance of laughter, inappropriate conversations, and other very questionable extra-curricular activities occurred. Sorry mom that was pot you smelled!
Furthermore, Caine will be remembered for always having a Wawa cup of coffee in his hand, for being able to eat a whole pack of hot dogs in one sitting, drinking out of the milk carton even though being repeatedly told not to, for his ability to help those in need, and for his moral code to not pass judgement on others, and always forgive.
It’s Caines’s final wishes that he be remembered for being the sexiest man alive, and for his body to be cremated so he would leave this life having a smoking hot body.
Instead of flowers, Caine would hope that you will do an unexpected act of kindness for some less fortunate soul.
We invite family and friends to join us in a Celebration of Life from 1 pm until 6 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at VFW Post #475, 100 Veterans Drive, Newark, DE 19711.
Guests are encouraged to wear black and red attire (though not required) to honor Caine’s favorite colors.
Rest In Peace, dear one. Thank you for sharing life with us.
