Where would we be without Jesus? As I said before, I know how you feel.I really wish I couldn’t , because it has been tough. Our grandson who we raised most of his life dying at age 20 from a rare virus.2 years 9 months later my wife Jan of 45 years gone suddenly from a massive heart attack.Jesus was in the midst of my shocking sorrow. I am not a “Believer” any longer……I am a “Knower” Without His imminent presence, I would be setting on the floor, staring at the wall with my thumb in my mouth. He met me and comforted me in His Word, through my family and Church. Praise God for His abundant grace. I have remarried and still Pastoring in Pineville, Ky. 2.COR. 10:5 “Casting down all imagination and every high thing that exaleth itself against God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Jesus Christ.” Keep looking up Pat,He’s still with you!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I can not say i know exactly how you feel but when i was going through a similar situation promises i found in the bible provided comfort. Acts 24:15 tells us we have a hope that we can see our loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 tells us soon God will “wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will morning nor pain be anymore”. Keep remembering the good times but focus on the future hope that we Allen can have.
Aunt Patty

Joel, I feel more lost without you every day. I wish you knew how important you were in my life, how all the good things I had done in the past few years were inspired by you and/or driven by wanting to make you proud. I haven’t been able to find a friend since you’ve been gone. There’s no one in this world like you. I love you Joel, thank you for teaching me so many beautiful things.
