Mr. John K. Fuller, age 92, of Newark, DE, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
Born in Baltimore, MD, on November 24, 1919, Mr. Fuller was the son of the late Joseph Mallon Fuller and Anna Rebecca Stump Fuller. He proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps, and in civilian life made his career with the Western Electric Company, where he retired as a manager after 40 years of service.
A devout Catholic throughout his life, Mr. Fuller was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland parish. In his leisure hours, he greatly enjoyed attending theater performances, classical music, gardening, and was a horse race enthusiast. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Most of all, he will be remembered as a devoted family man who delighted in spending time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma K. Mucyn Fuller; children, Kenneth Fuller (Judith) of Ellicott City, MD, Kathryn Linsner (Christopher) of Bear, DE, Jeffrey Fuller (fiancée, Evelyn Carrigan) of Queens, NY, and Mark Fuller (Debra) of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Paul, Caitlyn, and Evan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, The Rev. Joseph Donald Fuller.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at St. Margaret of Scotland R.C. Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Friday, September 28, 2012, at the church. Interment will be held privately at New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Fuller may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
