Joseph Harrison Williams
September 17, 1929 - February 19, 2022
Joseph Harrison Williams, age 92, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully at Season’s Hospice in Christiana Hospital on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Born in Upper Darby, PA, on September 17, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Lucelle V. (Stevens) William. After graduating from Upper Darby High School, Joseph served his country in the US Army where he was an MP during the Korean War. He made his career as an engineer with Boeing Vertol, retiring after 44 years.
Joseph was an experience skydiver, with over 800 jumps and was featured on the cover of two magazines.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Steven, Eric (Debra), and Patrick Williams; daughters, Cynthia Singer, Kimberly Hornock, Susan Walton, and Donna Campbell; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and loving nieces, Joan Egbert and Diane Gillis.
All services and interment will be held privately.
