Joseph “Joe” Musial

September 6, 1944 - October 30, 2019

Joseph “Joe” Musial, age 75, of Townsend, DE, and formerly of Somerdale, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 6, 1944, he was a son of the late Theodore and Cecelia (Rowe) Musial.  Joe retired from Triangle Pacific as a regional sales manager following many years of dedicated service.

An avid fisherman, he enjoyed many hours on his boat and at Island State Park.  Joe loved traveling many places with his wife, including casinos and taking cruises.  His fondest memories were made spending time with his family.  As a heart transplant recipient 27 years ago, Joe was an advocate for organ donation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ted Musial and Peg Musial.  Joe is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol (Kullman) Musial; children, Holly Hina (Tony) and John Musial (Christa); grandchildren, Rebecca Alexander and Kat Musial; and devoted cousin, Chal Carlin.

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe’s memory to the Gift of Life Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
