Josephine M. Crossan

Mrs. Josephine M. Crossan, known fondly as “Josie,” age 77, of Long Neck, DE, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011.
Born in Wilmington on May 30, 1934, Josie was the daughter of the late Frank Novello and Mildred Razzano Novello. She was a longtime member of American Legion Post #28 in Millsboro and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #463.
Her beloved husband, Herbert E. Crossan, Jr., died on July 6th of this year. She is survived by her children, Joseph Crossan and Edie; stepchildren, Helen Morris, Deborah Naylor, and Herbert Crossan III; brother, Paul Novello; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends, especially Dolly and Ed Larrimore.
A committal service for Josephine and her husband will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 15th, in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
