Judith Dorothy (de Fague) Megee, age 69, of Mocksville, NC, and formerly of Delaware, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, July 24, 2017.

Born on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies on May 8, 1948, Judy was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy de Fague. She was a proud and passionate member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Megee, Jr.; uncle, Thomas J. de Fague; and brother, John O. de Fague. She is survived by her children, Peter Boissiere (Teresa) of Columbus, OH, Bernadette Magan (Bill) of Mocksville, NC, Rhonda Ruiz (Steven) of Newark, and John Anderson (Karyn) of Dover; siblings, Angela Smith (Bob) of Sugar Land, TX, Janette Blizzard of Wilmington, Patricia Patsy Grimm of Delaware City, Stephen A. de Fague (Analise) of Sydney, Australia, and Michael T. de Fague of Delaware City; grandchildren, Billy, Joshua, and Bethany Magan, Abby (Magan) Beaver, Leah (Magan) Long, and Megan and Nick Boissiere; 7 great grandchildren, by whom she was called, Mom Mom; and several nieces and nephews worldwide.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 Noon until 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon, August 1, 2017, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy’s memory may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Bus Ministry, 2722 US Hwy 601 S., Mocksville, NC 27028.
