Judith S. “Judy” Knorr

Judith S. “Judy” Knorr, age 79, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 28, 1945, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Mollie E. (Dill) Stewart, Sr. Judy made her career as a financial analyst at MBNA.

In her spare time, Judy could often be found grilling or baking delicious treats for her loved ones. She also enjoyed sewing. Most of all, Judy loved making memories with her family and neighbors. She will always be remembered for her great sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Knorr and siblings, William A. Stewart, Jr. and Jeanne D. Herd. She is survived by her sister, Donna R. Richardson (Roy); nieces and nephew, April Prior, Tanya Ziegler, and Eddie Lang, Jr.; and canine companion, Maura.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will be held privately in All Saints Cemetery.
