Katherine Nellie Master Kuczynski, age 83, of New Castle, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
Born in Salem, New Jersey on January 31, 1929, Katherine was the daughter of the late Frank Johnson Master and Louise A. Albrecht Master. She grew up on a farm, and helped her family there.
Katherine was an endlessly loving homemaker, who was deeply and unconditionally devoted to her family. She always put her family first and her own needs last. Katherine found joy in cooking and caring for her loved ones. Katherine was instrumental in helping to raise her grandson, Clint, whom she adored. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Frank “Whitey” Kuczynski, and by her sibilings, Anna, Frank, William, Minnie, George, Henry, Carrie, and Laura. She is survived by her beloved daughter and caregiver, Jo Anne Brothers; grandson, Clint Brothers, and his fiancée, Jennifer Carr; a great grandchild, whose arrival is soon anticipated; brother, Warren Master; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, August 6, 2012, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where friends may call beginning at Noon. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.
