Kathleen M. “Kathy” Tridente

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Tridente, age 71, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Born in Darby, PA on November 21, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Clare (Youngflesh) Mullin. Kathy was a graduate of Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA. She then attended the University of Delaware and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. Kathy worked as a Manager of Corporate Communications at ICI Americas, Inc. for 20 years until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, deep sea fishing, fiddling outside and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her laugh and love of life even in hard times was infectious. She was a great warrior.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Tridente; children, Denise Wittmeyer (Kevin) and Joseph J. Tridente, Jr., both of Middletown; siblings, James Mullin of Middletown and Theresa Raymond of Newark; and grandchildren, Christian and Sophia Wittmeyer.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.

Kathy was one of the most intelligent and charismatic persons in my memories that go back to the ‘70’s.
As soon as she walked in a room the conversation was almost immediately transformed by her whit and and humor. As a result she made many friends and acquaintances all of whom, I’m sure, will left with a void in their life that they and I will never be able to fill.
