Kenneth A. “Ken” Plummer

November 30, 1947 - August 17, 2022

Kenneth A. “Ken” Plummer, age 74, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

Born in Chester, PA on November 30, 1947, he was a son of the late Kermit E. and Edith G. (Keeton) Plummer. Ken graduated from Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he received a sharpshooter badge and national defense service medal. Ken made his career as an Inspector at Wyeth, LLC.

Ken was an avid Philadelphia sports fan; he could often be found watching a game or old sitcoms. He loved listening to music, especially genres from the 50’s and 60’s, and looked forward to playing Merle Haggard Christmas carols during his favorite holiday, Christmas. When Ken wanted to relax, he enjoyed sharing snacks with his best buddy, Molly. Ken and his wife, Sandra took many trips to Wildwood, Myrtle Beach, and Aruba, creating countless cherished memories. Most of all, he adored his family and nothing made him happier than seeing his grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sandra M. (Dambro) Plummer; loving children, Traci M. Sorokanych (Steve) of Garnet Valley, PA, Kelly A. Seaborn (James) of Houston, DE, Jaclyn M. Rorer (Jason) of Hatboro, PA, and Kenneth J. Plummer (April) of Pike Creek; brother, Richard Plummer (Diana) of Boothwyn, PA; and grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Madelynn, Anthony, Austin, Bella, and Grayson.

All services will be held privately.
