Kenneth Francios “Kenny” Tielleman, Jr. - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Kenneth Francios “Kenny” Tielleman, Jr.

October 9, 1968 - October 31, 2021

Kenneth Francios “Kenny” Tielleman, Jr., age 53, of Wilmington, DE, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 9, 1968, he was a son of Janice Marie (Hall) Kellett and the late Kenneth Francios Tielleman, Sr. Kenny graduated from Hodgson Vocational Technical High School in 1986, where he studied HVAC.

Kenny devoted his life’s work to commercial and residential flooring in which he took pride in his expertise and craftsmanship. His highest accomplishment was owning and operating his very own business in the industry, Tielleman Flooring, for over 10 years.

Kenny was a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, and his favorite pastime was getting together with family and friends annually to run the fantasy football league with his late wife, Donna. He often enjoyed taking his boat out for recreational fishing and crabbing. Kenny had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend to many. In addition to his commitment to flooring, Kenny took his role as Pop-Pop very seriously. His favorite part of everyday was seeing the bright, smiling faces of his granddaughter’s, and he took solace in that. He is also known for spoiling his best buddy (and grand-dog) Mason.

In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years, Donna Tielleman. He is survived by his son, Cory Tielleman (Alicia); step-daughter, Danielle Kossek; step-son, Dale Potts III; sister, Kimberly Kossek (John); brother-in-law, James Kossek (Becky & Skyler); mother, Janice Kellett; granddaughters, Kaleigh, Alyssa, Isabella, Riley, Addison, Emily, Aubrianna, and Annabelle; and nephews, Matthew (Ashley) and Steven (Amanda) Kossek. He was also survived by his lifelong friends Mike Fash and Jeannie McElwain, and many other loved ones. His loss will be felt by many.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kenny’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
