Klemens Gabor

Klemens Gabor, age 87, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

A native Delawarean, Klemens was born in Wilmington on November 23, 1929, and was the son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Witalec) Gabor. He made his career as a truck driver with Agway, retiring in 1992 after 36 years of dedicated employment.

He enjoyed gardening, yardwork and tinkering around the house. A loving and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, Klemens adored spending time with his family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annis L. (Cleaver) Gabor; brother, Frank; and son-in-law, Edward Sabrowskie. He is survived by his children, Katherine L. Sabrowskie and Steven M. Gabor, both of Newark; and 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Thursday morning, February 9, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Port Penn Road, Port Penn, DE.
