July 15, 1947 - August 29, 2020

Larry C. Malin, age 73, of Bear, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2020, while under hospice care, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Burnwell, West Virginia on July 15, 1947, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Margie M. (Wriston) Malin. Larry spent his entire working career in food service at the University of Delaware. He was an avid country music and rock and roll record collector and enjoyed cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox and bowling with his brothers.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Beal. He is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Ramona), Donald, David (Cheryl), and Terry (Vickie) and sister, Joy Preston (Tom).

Services and interment will be held privately.

The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice. Donations may be made to them in Larry’s name at Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Ste. 407, Newark, DE 19713.
