Mrs. Leila E. Coulbourne, age 87, of Elsmere, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Coulbourne was born in Annapolis, MD, on May 31, 1924. She was a talented homemaker throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas W. Miller and Elizabeth M. Carr Miller, beloved husband, Eugene Coulbourne, Sr., son, James Coulbourne, and daughter, Brenda Cratty. She is survived by her children, Barbara Brumit (Russell), Beverly Domino, Eugene Coulbourne, Jr. (Carol), Thomas Coulbourne (Diann), and Donna Trader (Michael); and 20 grandchildren.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for their many kindnesses to Mrs. Coulbourne during her illness.
Services and interment will be held privately.
