Mrs. Lillian T. Jackson, age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Millcroft Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
A native Delawarean, Mrs. Jackson was born in Wilmington on November 18, 1933, daughter of the late Gloria (Forrest) and Paul Dabrowski-Dabson. She was a talented homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her beloved family.
A devout Catholic, she was a longtime member of Holy Family parish.
Her beloved husband, Francis X. “Frank” Jackson, passed away in 2010. She is survived by her sons, Michael Jackson of Middletown and Kevin Jackson of Bear; brother, Paul Dabson of Leesburg, FL; granddaughter, Heather Jackson of Bear; and great granddaughter, Alexis Jackson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Holy Family R.C. Church, E. Chestnut Hill and Gender Roads, Newark. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family R.C. Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE 19713; or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
