Linda L. Lindale, age 71, of Dover, DE, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 20, 1949, she was a daughter of Velma (Carroll) Lambert and the late Captain Roy R. Lambert. Linda worked as a teacher in Cecil County, Christina and Appoquinimink School Districts. She was also a notary for 38 years. Linda enjoyed going to the beach and loved animals, especially her dogs. In her spare time, she could often be found working on her photography. Above all, Linda cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Gail Wolford and Noreen Cresswell. She is survived by her husband, Harry Lindale; children, Kimberly Bossard of Bear, Katina Donovan of Dover, Roy Hobart of New Castle and Lake Lindale of Dover; grandchildren, Zander, Haili, Corey, Cody, River, Hunter, Xen, Sailor, Xyon, Onna and Zoey; and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Old Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.
