Linda Sue Schneider

Linda Sue Schneider, age 60, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016.

Linda was born in Elkton, Maryland on July 10, 1956, and was a daughter of the late Dale Brooks Schneider, Sr. and Helen (Cole) Schneider. She was a dedicated school bus driver who devoted over 38 years of service while touching the lives of many children.

In her leisure time, Linda enjoyed baking and making candy and was an avid quilter. She adored animals of all kinds. Above all else, Linda loved spending time with her family and was truly her happiest in their company.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale, Sr. Linda is survived by her mother, Helen; siblings, Dale B. Schneider, Jr. (Cindy) of New Castle, DE, Ruth A. Bertollo (Paul) of Middletown, DE, Daniel L. Schneider (Annette) of Lincolnton, NC and Thomas A. Schneider of New Castle, DE; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Friday evening, September 9, 2016, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 7 pm. Interment will be held privately.
