Logan Patrick Lattis - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Logan Patrick Lattis

September 28, 2018 - June 24, 2022

On Friday, June 24, 2022, our beautiful, cherubic Logan joined his fellow team of angels and ascended into God’s hands. Logan was born on September 28, 2018, to his wonderful parents, Patrick Daniels, and Laura Lattis.

His smile was infectious from the very beginning of his life and his first giggles made our hearts full. Logan was a special child from God. He came into this world facing challenges, but he never allowed anyone to think for a moment that he needed any assistance. He persevered in anything he set his mind to.

We all soon learned not to interrupt him when he was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Ms. Rachel on YouTube, Laugh and Learn and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. He was a bookworm and loved his illustrative pop-up books. He loved Eric Carle’s, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Very Busy Spider, Brown Bear Brown Bear; as well as Pete the Cat, Shark Bite, Vampire Bite, and the Chicka Chicka books. Music was a big part of Logan’s life and enjoyed his father playing his favorite songs on guitar and singing to him.  He also loved watching his Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers with Pop-Pop Lattis.  His appetite was unforgiving. He never passed up on a grilled cheese sandwich, chicken nuggets with barbeque sauce, or a glazed donut. While with us, Logan taught us about strength and determination.

Logan courageously battled Leukemia with his family by his side and with a smile on his face. He fell in love with all the nurses at Nemours and did everything he could to win them over. He leaves us all with so much love, hope, and promise. We are all so indebted to him for showing us how to be loving and happy while faced with unimaginable obstacles.

He will be missed forever by his parents, Patrick Daniels and Laura Lattis; maternal grandparents, Joe and Tina Lattis; paternal grandparents; Mark Daniels and Peggy Maher-Daniels; Uncle Neil (Kim Fries); Lucy Matos, Andrew Klein and scores of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and so many others. Our family is so thankful for all the supportive nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical team at Nemours who took such great care of Logan and showed him so much love.

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Logan’s memory may be made to Nemours Children’s Hospital, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 or by clicking here or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by clicking here.

Kevin and I want to express our deepest condolences, Logan . Kimberly and Neil always talked about Logan and shared pictures of adorable Logan , we could not help to love Logan and his beautiful smile . When Jesus resurrected Lazarus and others , he stated they are not dead but asleep , until resurrection. Rev 21 :3,4 it’s a very comforting scripture. I pray for strength and comfort for the entire family .

  • Words cannot express the pain of this. I am so sorry. God be with you all.

  • Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal”.

  • Praying for all of you!
Then the child opened his eyes, and looked up into the angel’s beautiful face, which beamed with happiness, and at the same moment they were in heaven, where joy and bliss reigned. The child received wings like the other angel, and they flew about together, hand in hand.
