Loretta S. Dobbins, age 79, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 18, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Dill Slaughter and Florence Virginia (Moore) Baine. Loretta was a long-term and loyal employee at Avon for 35 years. She had a love for lighthouses, traveling, country music, and taking tons of pictures. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Dobbins. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon; son, Kevin; sister, Shirley; grandchildren, Angel and Ryan; and her new great granddaughter, Layla.

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loretta’s memory to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Ste. 101, Newark, DE 19713.
