Lori Ann Hall, age, 60, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Born in Hagerstown, MD on October 17, 1963, she was a daughter of Gerald Palmer and the late JoCarol (Wood) Mizelle. Lori was a graduate of Christiana High School. While attending high school, she enrolled in Hodgson’s child care program. Lori went to work at Super Fresh and Gino’s while she attended night school. Throughout her life she enjoyed working in various occupations including, being a bus driver and doing custodial work at MBNA.

Lori found pleasure in helping others anyway that she could, and spent her free time cleaning at Living Waters Church. She enjoyed coaching cheerleading. Most of all, Lori loved spending time with family and friends. She was very active in her children and grandchildren’s activities.

In addition to her mother, Lori was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashli Hall; and father-in-law, Bill Hall. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Edward Harry Hall; father, Gerald Palmer; son, Brandon Hall (Rachel Brown); grandchildren, Bryce Hall, Brooklyn Coleman, Melana Beth Troyer, and Mary Grace Troyer; mother-in-law, Dottie Hall; adopted mother, Ollie Stanley; siblings, Krystal Collins (Pat), Doug Palmer, and Renee Hampton (Harry); and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Living Waters Church, 498 East Chestnut Hill Road, Newark, DE 19713, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lori’s memory to Living Waters Church, at the address listed above.
