Lorraine Franco Lugar, age 71, of Carney’s Point, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE on February 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Isidore and Adeline (Carreiro) Franco. Lorraine worked as a court clerk in Penns Grove, NJ. She was a 1963 grade school graduate of St. Peter’s Cathedral in Wilmington and a 1967 graduate of Wilmington High School. Lorraine enjoyed going on bus trips with her friends, especially to New York to see the Rockettes and Atlantic City. She loved shopping for her grandchildren and was devout in her Catholic faith.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Laura Elizabeth Miller (Robert J.) of York, PA; brother, Ronald Franco of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Robert W. Miller, Isabella R. Miller and John M. Miller; and step brother, Isidoro dos Santos of Lisbon, Portugal.

All services will be held privately.
