Mrs. Lynn Louise Sprague Sauer, age 63, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013.
Mrs. Sauer, a talented homemaker, was born in Oswego, NY, on December 3, 1949. She attended Wilmington College.
Dedicated to animal welfare throughout her life, Mrs. Sauer truly loved dogs and delighted especially in caring for her beloved Cairn Terriers, Jessie and Deli. She also volunteered with the Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network for five years.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Walter Sauer; mother, Marlynn Sprague; brothers, Nelson Sprague (Melinda) and Gary Sprague (Connie); and mother-in-law, Florence M. Sauer. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Sprague.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where visitation will begin at 1 pm.
