Was so sorry to just hear of Peggy’s passing. For a while, Peggy was the neighbor to our life-long friends, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil. She came to my sister’s salon as a customer and we so enjoyed her visits. We would get very wrapped up in discussing our shared love of sewing, and we asked her to bring her “show and tell” projects during her appointments. Her work was stunningly beautiful and professional. She often spoke of how much she enjoyed sewing with the quilting group at her church in St. Georges. Lydia and I each have a wool cardinal ornament crafted by Peggy and she made me an adorable pin cushion which makes me think of her every time it is used. She loved her family and am sure she is deeply missed. Please accept my deepest condolences. What a blessing to know Peggy – her warmth, skills, and gentle personality will be remembered.
