Marian Helena Purcell, age 96, of New Castle, DE passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Born on October 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Della (Mitchell) Murray.
Marian was a talented homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She always looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hayden Donald Purcell. She is survived by her daughters, Lovene Davidson and Patricia Horseman (Clarence),both of New Castle; brother, Robert Murray of Mifflinburg, PA; 4 grandhchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Marian will be held at a later date.
