Marie G. Ramey

Marie G. Ramey, age 89, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marie Agnes (Helmstriet) Devlin. Marie worked for Bank of Delaware as a teller for 15 dedicated years. Her spare time was spent as the treasurer of the Dolittle Miniature Guild in Florida. Marie and her husband were always proud of their four wonderful children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Benjamin F. Ramey, Jr.; brother, Joseph Devlin; grandson, Richard Joseph Ramey, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Marge Ramey. Marie is survived by her children, Linda M. Reid (Wally) of Newark, Richard Ramey (Arlene) of Bear, Howard Ramey of Newark and Susan Osborn (Ozzy) of Harrisburg, PA; grandchildren, Bill Reid (Krystal), Kristin Ramey, Melanie Laffaiza (Chad), Trina Lilick, Amber Ramey and Timothy Narcavage; and great grandchildren, Ava Ramey, Mia Laffaiza, Jackson Reid and Maksim Reid.
A memorial service will be held at 9 am on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. Interment will follow at 11 am in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
