Mark Andrew Nolan, age 58, of Claymont, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 15, 1964, he was a son of the late Edward L. and Ann (Beavin) Nolan. Mark was employed at Elwyn in Wilmington where he worked in the sheltered workshop.

He loved swimming, especially at the YMCA.

Mark is survived by his beloved siblings, Edward J. Nolan, Teresa N. Ewald (Jeffrey), Rev. Timothy M. Nolan, and David P. Nolan; and loving nephews, Matthew (Emily), Thomas, Daniel, and Michael Ewald.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 12 Winder Road, New Castle, DE where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.

 In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to Holy Spirit R.C. Church at the address listed above or to Elwyn, 321 E. 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
