6 Condolences for Mary Lee Mitchell

  • To my dear lifelong friend, Mary Lee’s daughters, Jennifer and Jullianne and son Jeffrey, I cannot tell you how saddened I am for the loss of your Mother, Mary Lee. She has been my dearest friend since elementary school. She has always been loved and admired by all who had the privilege to know her and always put the needs of those less fortunate before her. We have stayed in touch all our lives because of our long friendship. I shall feel her loss tremendously. She was a “one of a kind” sweet and dear lady and the world shall feel her loss. Sincerely, Helen Melendy Farrand

  • Sending my sincere sympathy to Mary Lee’s family. I will miss our weekly rides to the “Scribblers” meeting at NSC, and Mary Lee’s weekly stop at WaWa to pick up her favorite goodies. Members of Scribblers will miss her delightful stories about life in Vermont in days of yore.
Mary Lee, we will miss you. Fondly, Jean P. Skibinski

  • Jeff,
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and you sisters.

  • I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your loved one personally, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one in death. It is my hope that you may find comfort from family and friends, and from “the God of all comfort” who can provide us with peace during such difficult times. – 2 Corinthians 1:3

  • Jeff, Julianne and Jennifer,

I always enjoyed working with Mary Lee and know she was proud of all of her children. I know she continued to miss your father and hope she now will rest in peace. My sincere sympathy and prayers are with all of you and your families.

    DeVon

  • I grew up in the neighborhood with the Mitchell family, and have always remembered Mary Lee as a kind, and compassionate mother. As an adult, I have had the pleasure over the last several years, tonsho establish a warm relationship with Mary Lee. She and my mother have been good friends, and I visit Mom often, as I live in the midwest. We all went to church together when I visited, which was quite frequently. She will be remembered as the sweetest person I know, next to my own mother.
