Maureen Lynn “Reenie” Horan-Winter

Maureen Lynn “Reenie” Horan-Winter, age 52, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

Born in Darby, PA on January 9, 1968, she was a daughter of Linda M. (Giles) DePaul. Reenie was a graduate of Abington (PA) High School in 1986. She devoted her life to her family as a talented homemaker. Reenie enjoyed vacationing around the world with her family. She spent every minute she could attending Ashley’s dance competitions, track meets and other extracurricular activities, and she never missed her grandsons’ baseball games. Reenie loved receiving many treasured pieces of artwork from her granddaughter, Jazzy. She loved watching her two beautiful girls grow up, and cherished the precious time with her children and grandchildren.

Reenie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Winter. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Winter and Heather Horan (Samuel Molina); mother, Linda DePaul; father, John DePaul; grandchildren, Sam Molina, Omar Molina and Jazzy Molina; and siblings, Lisa DePaul and Jay Horan.           A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 pm until 4 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Reenie requested that all guests wear navy blue for Colon Cancer awareness. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Services will be held privately. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
