Michael D. “Butch” Hall

Michael Duane “Butch” Hall, age 65, of New Castle, DE, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 24, 2018.

A native Delawarean, Butch was born in Wilmington on September 9, 1952, a son of the late Donald E. and Rosa Helen (Brown) Hall. After proudly serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, Butch made his career as a carpenter with James Julian Construction, retiring after over 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judith K. Hall. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Darlene P. (Heaps) Hall; sons, Michael D. Hall, Jr., Jeffrey P. Hall, and Dustin E. Hall; siblings, Donald E. Hall, Jr., James B, Hall, Pamela M. Walker, Clifford D. Hall, and Patricia A. Donophan; and grandchildren, Olivia Losak, Gaige, and Preston Hall.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2pm. A committal service with military honors will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
