Michael G. Snyder - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Michael G. Snyder

February 23, 1963 - January 25, 2020

Michael G. Snyder, age 56, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020.

Born in Camden, NJ on February 23, 1963, he was a son of Dorothy (Winters) Snyder and the late Clarence Snyder.  Michael was a hard and dedicated worker as a Senior Master Technician State Inspector with Ford in Elkton, MD.

A true family man he was willing to sacrifice anything for his children and never stopped trying to better the lives of his family.  He always did his best, looked for the same in others and would help anyone no matter who they were and no matter the situation.  Michael had a knack for fixing practically anything and loved working on cars.  He had a dry sense of humor like his father.  Michael’s biggest joy was his daughter.  In his spare time, he liked to go fishing.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Foster.  He is survived by his children, Eve Snyder, Weston Lynn and Van Lynn; siblings, Barbara Middlemas (James) and Stephen Snyder (Lisa); and many nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.  Interment will be held privately.  The family requests guests to wear casual clothing.

Plant flowers are appreciated or donations to the Hackerman-Patz House, checks payable to: University of Maryland, St. Joseph Medical Foundation, 7601 Osler Drive, Towson, MD 21204.
