Michael J. Ratel

Michael J. Ratel, age 52, of Middletown, DE passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Born in Long Island, NY on May 19, 1966, he was a son of Clare (Shields) and the late William Ratel. Michael worked as an automobile technician with Sheridan Nissan in New Castle for over 30 years. A true New Yorker, you could always find him cheering on his beloved NY Yankees and Giants.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, William Ratel. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rebecca L. (Turner) Ratel; mother, Clare (Shields) Ratel of Leesburg, FL; son, Nick J. Ratel of Middletown; and brothers, William Ratel of Palm Coast, FL and Richard Ratel of Williamsburg, VA.
All services will be held privately.
