Michael J. Wargo, Sr. Big D, age 56 of New Castle, DE, passed away at home, surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on May 24, 1961. Michael made his career as a truck driver, retiring from CPI Sealed Air in Somerset, NJ after over 25 years of service.

He enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Ohio State Buckeyes. Michael also loved to ride his Harley and take camping trips to the Poconos. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandson, Nick, Jr.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Colleen M. (Groome) Wargo; children, Michelle F. Wargo (James), Mike J. Wargo, Jr., and Nick Wargo, Sr. (Carol); grandson, Nicholas James Wargo, Jr.; sisters, Patricia and Ann; and nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will be held the following morning, Thursday, December 28
