Michael Lee Kirby, age 67, of Wilmington, DE, and formerly of New Castle, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017.
A native Delawarean, Michael was born in Wilmington on March 1, 1950, son of the late Estridge Kirby and the late Clara Nona (Branch) Kirby Taylor. He made his career as a sheet metal worker in the HVAC industry. Michael enjoyed crabbing, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Keene and Anna Yurgin. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle L. Kirby; sister, Pamela A. Rini (Michael); granddaughter, Danielle Hartnett; and great grandson, Leonardo Saienni.
Services and Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to Connections, 3821 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805.
