Nancy Jo Wolynetz, age 83, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on February 5, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Helen (Lathbury) Robinson. Nancy was a loving homemaker for many years who cherished taking care of her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, spending time at the beach with her family, and trying her luck at Delaware Park. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Sergius P. “Serge” Wolynetz; children, Mike Wolynetz (Denise), Lisa Adams (Bob), and Scott Wolynetz (Tricia); sister, Carolyn Moore (John); several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Services and interment will be held privately at Gracelawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to Habitat for Humanity, Wilmington Chapter, 1920 Hutton Street, Wilmington, DE 19802.
