Nicole J. Nikki Crockett, age 27, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017.

Born in New Castle, DE on October 9, 1990, she was a daughter of Preston L. Startt (Beth) and Virginia E. Crockett (Joe). Nikki worked as a waitress at The Dog House in New Castle.

Nikki was a member of Eastern Star of Delaware. She enjoyed listening to music, cheering on the Cowboys, and riding her motorcycle. She will be lovingly remembered for her outgoing personality. Most importantly, Nikki was a devoted mother and loved every moment spent with her children, especially their time spent together at the park.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Nicholas Joseph and Dakota Mae Duncan; sister, Prestina M. Crockett; stepbrothers, Andrew J. Ferrell (Rachel), and Matthew R. and Daniel A. Brennan; maternal grandfather, David S. Crockett; niece, Sydney Jo Crockett; and nephew, Shane Edward Crockett.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday morning, October 23, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE 19720.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nikki’s memory may be made to the Grand Chapter of Delaware, Order of the Eastern Star, c/o Benefit for Children in DE, 517 McCabe Ave., Wilmington, DE 19802.
