Patricia A. “Pat” Breeding

Patricia A. “Pat” Breeding, age 76, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Born in Keyser, WV, on November 3, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Alexander J. and Marie M. (Logue) Vivod. Pat was a 1963 graduate of Newark High School and spent most of her career at Corestates Bank as a marketing representative.

She had a passion for all kinds of crafting including, crocheting, and embroidering.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, John W. and Bertha M. Breeding. She is survived by her loving husband, James R. “Jim” Breeding; daughter, Lorraine M. Breeding; grandsons, Justin J. Bowens, Richard J. Finocchiaro, and Joshua D. Finocchiaro; sister, Donna M. Vivod; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and various other loving family members.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

    I was deeply saddened to hear of Pat’s demise. I haven’t seen or spoke to her in many years. I will always remember and cherish the childhood visits to Luke of Alex, Donna, “Little Donna”, and Patsy. Those were some of the best times of my life.
