          Pauline C. King, age 82, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020.

          Born in Wilmington, DE on March 31, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Pauline (Munzert) Carroll.  Pauline worked for many years as a shipping clerk with Wiltex.  She was dedicated to her family.  Pauline enjoyed crafts, sewing, traveling to the beach and was an avid doll collector.

          In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. King.  She is survived by her children, Debra J. Bielicki (John) of New Castle, Diane Carter (Bob) of Elkton, MD and Bill King of Middletown; siblings, Francis Carroll, Norman Carroll (Marie), Ronald Carroll, Margaret Ellis and Elizabeth Hasting (Doug); 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

          A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Friday, January 10, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm.  Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

          In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pauline’s memory to Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, c/o Christiana Care, P.O. Box 1668, Wilmington, DE 19899.

    So sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. She was such a very sweet person. She always had a smile on her face when I ran into her years later after I had you two in my classroom at Castle Hills. May all your wonderful memories get you through this difficult time. Mrs . Maxwell
