Pearla Jean Hall

Mrs. Pearla Jean Hall, age 74, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012.
Mrs. Hall was a native Delawarean, born in Wilmington on August 30, 1938, daughter of the late Garland Smith and Pearl Jeandell Smith. She was a talented homemaker and had also worked at Delaware State Hospital until her retirement.
A devout Christian throughout her life, Mrs. Hall had been a member of the First Baptist Church of New Castle. She was a great fan of country music throughout her life and was very proud to have been the founder of the Ronnie Milsap Fan Club.
In her leisure hours, Mrs. Hall greatly enjoyed reading and traveling. Most of all, she delighted in spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by the many people who loved her.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her devoted daughters, Barbara Kaiser of Chesapeake City, MD, Brenda Lee Hall-Akl and Tracy A. Clymer, both of New Castle; grandchildren, Jessica Jean Hall, Steven D. Hall, Kirby Ellingsworth, Erika L. Kaiser, and Ryan W. Kaiser; and great grandchildren, Jadyn L. Davis, Jeremyah D.W. Hall, Christian A. Hall, and Kameron and Kiley Ellingsworth.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, November 29th, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.
