Phyllis A. Terp

Phyllis A. Terp, age 78, of Delaware City, DE, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Born in New York, NY, on September 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late George and Minnie F. (Marshall) Terp. Phyllis held various jobs over the years as a hairdresser, bank teller, and dealer in Atlantic City. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her cat, Freddy.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brothers, George M. Terp Sr. and James P. Terp. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Georgia Terp; niece, Amy S. Terp; nephew, George M. Terp Jr. and wife, Michelle; and great-nephews and niece, Dillon and Ryan Terp of Oak Ridge, NJ, Amelia Terp, George M. Terp III, and Mason Terp of West Milford, NJ.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 214 Clinton Street, Delaware City, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in New St. Paul’s Cemetery, Delaware City, DE.
