Ralph L. Bleacher, Jr., age 79, of Frankford, DE, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lancaster, PA, on March 18, 1939, he was a son of the late Ralph L. and Katherine (Redman) Bleacher. A talented groundskeeper, Ralph dedicated his career with Gracelawn Memorial Park.
Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family and cutting the grass. He had a passion for old cars and loved attending car shows. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bleacher; son, James Bleacher; and brother, Ronny Bleacher. He is survived by his son, Ralph L. Bleacher III of Frankford, DE; brothers, Bobby, John and Richard; sisters, Delores and Barbara; grandchildren, Sunny, Brandon and Ashley; and great grandchildren, Maddy, Bella, Benjamin, Kora, Chole, Veronica and Skylar.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, De, 19720.

I am thinking about you all . I will miss him .Eric and I called him Big Sonny and we also called him pop. Eric thought of him as his dad . I thought of him as a dad also . Never had a dad . He stayed with me after Eric passed away and helped me . You will forever be missed and loved always and forever !
