Reneé Lynn Rose (Villermaux)

July 30, 1964 - November 24, 2015

Reneé Lynn Rose (Villermaux), age 51, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

Reneé was born in Wilmington on July 30, 1964, a daughter of Edmond F. and Mildred (Bromwell) Villermaux, Sr. She spent 24 years as a relationship banker with the former Wilmington Trust, then M&T Bank.

Reneé enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking annual girl’s weekend trips to Dewey Beach and country line dancing with her mother and aunts.

Reneé was preceded in death by her father, Edmond. She is survived by her mother, Mildred E. of Wilmington; daughters, Nicole A. Ramos (Isael, Sr.) of New Castle, and Denise D. Rose of Wilmington; brother, Edmond F. Villermaux, Jr. (Darlene) of Newark; sisters, Jeanette Yost (Joe) of Cape Coral, FL and Michelle Robinson (Paul) of Elkton, MD; 2 grandchildren Sommer Waterman and Isael Ramos, Jr.; lifelong friend best friend, Sherry Lynn Saragino; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, November 30, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, DE, where a visitation will be held from 10 am until 12 noon. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle.

  • I am so sad at the loss of Renee, I have known and worked with her for many years, and found Renee to have been one of the sweetest person I have ever known. She will be very much missed.

  • Heaven has truly gained an angel. Renee was like a big sister to me. I will always cherish the memories of our girls weekends with our sweet Annie and the rest of the girls and our fun times at WTC. Nicole and Denise just know your mom will always watch over you and your beautiful family. She’s our guardian angel now. Love to you both and your family.
